Need
to move designs, files, and folders between teams or accounts? Right
now, you can only copy Canva designs, files, and folders from one
account or team to another.
Not sure if you’re copying to another team or account?
Check how you access the "source" and "destination" of your designs.
If you need to log in separately to the "source" and "destination," follow the steps to copy designs between accounts.
Copying designs, files, or folders from one team to another
Are
you a team member of several teams and you’d like to copy a design,
file, or folder from one team to another? Follow the steps below.
From the homepage side panel, click Projects
Look for the design, file, or folder you want to copy and click the More icon on its thumbnail.
Click Copy to another team.
Select the team where you want to send the copy.
Click Copy to confirm.
Wait until we’ve successfully copied the design, file, or folder to the other team.
You can find the copy of your design in the selected team’s Projects
At the moment, you can only copy one design, file, or folder at a time.
Copying designs from one account to another
Need to copy a design to a different account? You can do so by sharing an editable version of your design.
From the homepage side panel, click Projects
Hover your mouse over its thumbnail, and click on the More Icon that appears, and select Share
Enter the email address of the account you want to send the copy to.
Set permission setting to Can edit.
Click Share.
Log out of your current account and log into the one where you want to transfer the design, file, or folder.
Open the shared design, file, or folder from your email or the Notifications icon in Canva
From the editor menu bar, click File.
Select Make a Copy
You’ll find the copied design in the Designs tab under the Projects
Who can copy content across brands?
By
default, this is set to team admins only. However, team admins can set
this to Everyone so team members can copy designs across brands. This
feature can be managed by:
From the homepage, click Settings
Under your team, click Permissions
Click Team content and scroll to Transfer content.
Set Who can copy content from [Team name] into another team to Everyone.
