Jamf Connect Migration Guide

Getting Started w/Jamf Connect: Migrating Your Existing Computer Account


Please use the guide below to ensure your computer account is properly sync'd with your Google login for a simple sign-in solution going forward.

  1. Login to your Work Issued Google email when prompted with the window below

  2. Enter your current computer password (what you normally use to login to your device) - Note: some users may not receive this prompt

  3. Please restart your device to ensure the change has taken place
  4. Once you restart you will see a new Google Login screen
    1. Sign in using your work issued Google credentials

  5. Please select the local computer account you use on your device
    1. Most people should only see 1 available account to select. If you see multiple accounts, please submit a tech ticket before continuing

  6. You may receive an additional prompt to enter your password once more
    1. If so, please enter your Google account password
    2. If this does not work, please enter the most recent password used to login to your computer

  7. You should now be back to your desktop and ready to you use your computer again!
